Ted Prettyman, Associate, utilizes his research and analytical skills to provide policy research and legislative analysis for the diverse set of clients of Chamber Hill Strategies.
Prior to joining the firm, Ted worked for United States Senator Tom Carper (D-DE) in both his Capitol Hill and Delaware offices. Most recently, Ted worked as a Legislative Correspondent handling health policy and issues related to Medicare, Medicaid, and the Affordable Care Act. In this position, Ted supported Senator Carper’s work on the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, on which Senator Carper serves as the Ranking Member. During his time in Senator Carper’s Delaware office, Ted worked as a Constituent Services Representative. In this capacity, he advocated with a variety of Federal agencies on behalf of constituents.
Ted holds a M.A. in Political Science from American University’s School of Public Affairs, where he concentrated in Comparative Politics. He received his B.A. from the University of Delaware.
