Deema Tarazi, Senior Associate at Chamber Hill Strategies, has extensive experience both in federal advocacy and health policy. Her specialty areas include coalition building and funding for federal health programs.
Prior to joining Chamber Hill Strategies, Deema served as Deputy Director of Federal Affairs for Public Health at March of Dimes where she advocated for equitable maternal health policies on Capitol Hill and worked with coalition partners and external stakeholders on a variety of key priorities that impacted pregnant women and infants. She also served as the Director of Federal Affairs at American Diabetes Association supporting public health policies including funding for diabetes research and prevention. As the Senior Policy Analyst at Hemophilia Federation of America, she collaborated with coalition partners to protect patient provisions in the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and worked on passing health care legislation at the state level.
Deema holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Michigan State University and a law degree from Michigan State University College of Law and is licensed to practice in Maryland.
