Beau Rothschild
Beau Rothschild, principal at Chamber Hill Strategies, has more than two decades of experience in federal and state lobbying, political campaigns, and communications with a long record of successful legislative wins.
Prior to joining Chamber Hill Strategies, Beau worked as the Director of Government Relations for Populus Financial Group where he oversaw the lobbying operation of 22 states and the Federal Government. He has also worked for some of the top lobbying firms in Washington DC.
Well-connected in Washington, DC, Beau’s time on Capitol Hill included serving as the Members Outreach Director for the Committee on House Administration, serving the day-to-day needs of the House Republican leadership, various committees, and the House Republican Conference. He facilitated the transitions of newly elected members of Congress from campaigner to legislator by guiding them through the intricacies of running their in-district and Washington offices. In this capacity, Beau developed a keen knowledge of the rules of the House, and oversaw the workings of U.S. Patent and Trademark office, The Smithsonian Institution, and The Library of Congress.
In addition, Beau served as chief of staff for Rep. Blake Farenthold (TX-27), working with the Committees on the Judiciary, Transportation, Oversight and Government Reform. He primarily focused on criminal justice reform, the Water and Resources Reform and Development Act, copyright reform, Map 21 (surface transportation legislation), federal employees’ health benefits, and patent reform. Additionally, he helped establish the first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Export Caucus and the Texas Ports Caucus.
A native of Dallas, Beau’s career began in Texas with grassroots political campaigning. His public service included a number of positions in the Texas legislature, including as the Chief Clerk of the House Energy Resources Committee. He also worked as a lobbyist in Austin, representing some of the largest Fortune 100 companies in America.
Beau holds a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Texas Tech University.
