Summary

This position is responsible for several key projects at the firmThe Associate manages the firm’s daily health policy subscription service PolicyCrush, from production and subscribing management to sales.  The Associate is responsible for the entire production of the report, including implementing a detailed search and curation process five days a week. The Associate identifies new customers and manages existing customers through the renewal processThe Associate also administers a sponsorship program which includes virtual and in-person eventsThe Associate will also have opportunities to provide legislative tracking and policy research for the consulting clients of the firm. 

Job Description

  • PolicyCrush management and development ~50% of job responsibilities
  • Produce the daily content, design and delivery of the health policy service
  • Develop and improve the product’s content and features, including information sources
  • Implement a production contingency plan
  • Manage the accounts of current subscribers
  • Maintain and expand access to government subscribers
  • Grow paid subscriber base and renew existing subscribers

 

  • Other Projects ~50% of job responsibilities
  • Administer existing sponsorship program
  • Outreach to prospective sponsors to grow the program
  • Monitor public policy issues and public officials, including comments of members of Congress and administration officials, including floor statements, committee comments, press releases, media stories, and social media posts
  • Compile research data to be used in firm strategy documents, reports, and presentations

 

 

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor degree is required 
  • Inside sales and marketing experience is a plus  
  • Background or interest in health care policy is a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Attention to written detail, including grammar and spelling  
  • Self-motivation with exceptional organizational and project management skills
