Annissa McDonald, CPHQ, Principal at Chamber Hill Strategies, has more than 25 years of experience in federal and state health care policy and business strategy.
Prior to joining Chamber Hill Strategies, Annissa was Vice President at Healthgrades, a leading online consumer resource to research doctors and hospitals. For 14 years, she ran a healthcare consulting team focused on delivering quality analysis and clinical improvement solutions, marketing solutions, and business value to 400+ strategic hospital and health system partners across the country.
Prior to Healthgrades, Annissa served the State of Colorado in the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, driving a major expansion of health care coverage for millions of Coloradans. At the Federal level, Annissa was Associate Director at the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), working to translate complicated payment and access data into actionable recommendations for Congress. She also worked at a Wall Street advisory and consulting firm providing forecasting and analysis to a wide range of health care services companies.
Annissa began her career as a senior legislative advisor to then-Rep. Roy Blunt (MO-07) as a member of his House leadership team and as legislative assistant to her hometown member of Congress Joel Hefley (CO-05).
Annissa’s most recent credentialing was to become a Certified Professional of Health Care Quality (CPHQ). She also holds a B.A. in International Affairs and Spanish from University of Colorado – Boulder.
