Josh Knaak, Associate at Chamber Hill Strategies, supports the research and marketing needs of the firm’s clients. He is also the operational lead for PolicyCrush, the firm’s daily email report.
Josh gained his working knowledge of Congress through several internships on Capitol Hill, including for Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer (R-OR-5), Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY-11), and Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ-9). For these members, he tracked the appropriations process, drafted memoranda, crafted questions for various Congressional hearings, and interacted with constituents and stakeholders.
Josh also volunteered for various political campaigns across all levels of government. He assisted candidates with social media management, event scheduling, canvassing, photography, and policy research.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts from Nazareth College in Rochester, New York, and a Master of Professional Studies with a focus on Legislative Affairs from George Washington University.
